Help rescue parrots — and give them room to heal
When a bird arrives with us, they need more than a safe perch — they need space to decompress, rebuild confidence, and start flying again.
We’ve moved to a larger location so we can take in more surrendered parrots and give every bird better welfare and better housing. That also meant upgrading from large cages to safe, secure aviaries—so birds can fly, recover, and thrive while they wait for their forever home.
Goal: $2,000 (raised $160 so far)
Every donation helps build safe aviary spaces and cover the care that comes with rescue and rehabilitation.

On our way to becoming a NFPC
Free To Fly Birds is working toward becoming a not-for-profit charity (NFPC) so we can expand our impact for birds and the people who love them. Our aim is to grow into three connected branches—continuing to support our usual clients and services, while building a not-for-profit arm focused on rescue and rehabilitation, bird welfare, education, and helping people access avian veterinary care when they’re doing it tough.
As we develop this pathway, fundraising supports practical, bird-first outcomes such as safe aviary spaces, appropriate housing and enrichment, and the resources needed to take in surrendered birds responsibly, including medications, and veterinary health-checks. We’re committed to transparency as we grow, and we’ll continue sharing updates on what we’re building and how support is being used.
